Art Week will return September 2-8, 2019 leading up to the 28th annual Doylestown Arts Festival. Intended to celebrate Doylestown as a center for the arts and culture, Art Week will showcase both permanent and temporary installations in local museums, galleries, storefronts, restaurants, and more!

Visitors can expect a mixture of large scale exhibits, live art, collections, and small shows. Explore things to do or see how you can get involved! Art Week is free to attend, free to join, and designed for all ages.

The County Theater is a nonprofit, community-based movie theater that specializes in independent, art, foreign films, unique programming and special events.

​Fonthill Museum presents Henry Mercer’s Castle

Fonthill Castle is Henry Mercer’s concrete castle house with 44 rooms, 18 fireplaces and over 200 windows of varying size and shape. The interior walls, floors and ceilings are elaborately adorned with Mercer’s handcrafted tiles.


Bucks County presents Moravian Pottery & Tile Works

The Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, a National Historic Landmark, is maintained as a "working history" museum. Handmade tiles are still produced in a manner similar to that developed by the pottery's founder and builder, Henry Chapman Mercer (1856-1930).


Bucks County presents Civil War Museum and Library

The museum presents numerous rare and one-of-a-kind artifacts from the Civil War, with emphasis on Bucks County's contribution. The library and research room houses thousands of books, periodicals, rare first-editions and databases for research and study.
